How It All Started
My name is Adrian Hale, and I've been in love with the ritual of cigars for as long as I can remember. It wasn't just about the smoke — it was the whole experience. The careful selection, the anticipation of clipping a fresh cigar, the smell of cedar from a well-kept humidor, the quiet moments shared with friends over a slow evening.
Years ago, I struggled to find accessories that matched the quality of the cigars I loved. Cheap cutters that crushed the cap instead of slicing it cleanly. Humidors that couldn't hold a steady humidity. Ashtrays that looked like an afterthought. I found myself constantly searching, testing, returning, and searching again.
That frustration became a mission. I started reaching out to craftsmen, testing dozens of humidors side by side, comparing blade steel on cutters, and refusing to settle for "good enough." What began as a personal obsession slowly turned into something bigger: a curated collection built by someone who actually understands what a cigar deserves.
The Cigar Keeper was born from that journey — not as another accessories shop, but as the shop I always wished existed. Every product here has earned its place through real use, real testing, and real standards.
Twelve years, one damaged humidor collection, and a stubborn refusal to settle for "good enough" later, that shop finally exists.
